Do I need every module?
No. Pick only what you need and add more later. Restaurant & Bar needs Point of Sale and Inventory, so those are added when you pick it. Liquor & Convenience needs Point of Sale and Inventory, so those are added when you pick it. Smoke & Vape needs Point of Sale and Inventory, so those are added when you pick it. Consignment needs Point of Sale and Inventory, so those are added when you pick it. Time Clock & Scheduling needs Point of Sale, so those are added when you pick it. Self-Order Kiosk needs Point of Sale, so those are added when you pick it. Accounting Sync needs Point of Sale, so those are added when you pick it. Your products, stock and customers carry over because they all live in the same place.
What’s the difference between a suite and picking modules?
A suite is a set of modules for one lower price. If you pick the same modules one by one, you get the suite price automatically. We offer Store Suite, Restaurant Suite, Liquor & C-Store Suite, Smoke & Vape Suite and Consignment Suite.
Is there a discount for paying yearly?
Yes. Paying for the year saves 16.67% compared with paying monthly.
Does the liquor module check IDs?
Yes. Scan the barcode on the back of a driver’s licence and the register checks the date of birth instantly. Every check and refusal is logged with the cashier and time, and alcohol is blocked outside the sale hours you set.
Does the restaurant module work for a bar?
Yes. Run bar tabs without a table, send drinks to a separate bar screen, split checks by seat and track tips by server. Lay out the dining room, patio and bar as separate sections.
Do I need the liquor module to run a smoke or vape shop?
No. Smoke & Vape is its own module: Tobacco 21 ID scanning, your state’s flavor ban, the state vape directory, purchase limits, cartons from packs and nicotine taxes with a filing report. If you also sell alcohol, add Liquor & Convenience and one ID check covers both.
Do people on the time clock need a login?
No. Staff clock in and out with a 4–6 digit PIN on any of your store’s computers, so they don’t use up your employee logins. Managers build the schedule, fix missed punches with a reason, and export timesheets with overtime for payroll.
How do self-order kiosks work?
Set up a tablet as Kiosk 1, Kiosk 2 and so on. Customers order and get a number; the order goes straight to your kitchen screens, or waits at the register to pay, marked with the kiosk it came from. Leaving kiosk mode takes a manager’s sign-in.
Does it work with QuickBooks or Xero?
Yes, with Accounting Sync. Connect QuickBooks Online or Xero and each day’s sales, tax, payments, tips and refunds go in as one balanced journal entry, automatically each night if you like. No accounting app? Download the journals as a spreadsheet or a QuickBooks Desktop file.
How do consignment booths get paid?
Each booth has monthly rent and a commission on sales. Every sale is split automatically, rent is taken from what a consignor earns, and payouts are recorded with a statement. Consignors see their balance and sales in their own portal.
Will it work with the website I already have?
Yes. The Webstore module connects to the site you already run. Your developer pastes one line of code and your live catalog and stock appear. Orders come back into your back office.
Who processes my card payments?
You connect your own Square or Stripe account, so the money goes straight to you at the rates you already have.
How does pricing work if I have more than one location?
Each location is its own store with its own back office, its own orders and reports, and its own bill, so your downtown staff never see uptown’s sales. You manage them all from one owner account. Every location includes 2 employee logins (counting yours) and 2 computers, and you can add more any time from your account.
Do I have to use my own domain?
No. Every store gets its own address, like yourstore.merchant365.app, the day it’s set up. Hosting at a domain you own, like pos.yourstore.com, is an add-on for $15 a month.
How does signing up work?
Tell us about your business and pick a plan. We set up your workspace, then email you a sign-in link and a temporary password, usually within one business day.
